Winston-Salem, NC-The 2007 Salem College Volleyball Team claimed two Association of Division III Independents post-season awards as the coaches and sports information directors of 21 colleges across the nation voted.

Whitney Sorenson (Jr, Glendale, AZ) and Christine Tillman (FY, King, NC) were named to the All-Association Volleyball Second Team.

For the 2007 season, Sorenson had 271 total kills (school record), 38 solo blocks, 45 aces, 181 digs (school record), 76 assists and averaged 4.37 kills per game. Sorenson was also named to the All-Tournament Team at Gallaudet University during the season.

Tillman totaled 247 total kills, 98 solo blocks (school record), 23 aces, 168 digs, 26 assists and averaged 3.74 kills per game.
