Winston-Salem, NC- The Salem College Volleyball Team traveled the three blocks down the street to play Piedmont Baptist College Thursday evening. Piedmont avenged an earlier loss in the season to the Spirits by defeating Salem College 25-30, 30-28, 30-24, 31-29.

Whitney Sorenson (Jr., Glendale, AZ) led the Spirits with 21 kills, 3 blocks, 4 aces and 4 digs. Christine Tillman (FY, King, NC) had 13 kills, 11 blocks, 1 ace and 8 digs. Katie Lineberger (Jr., Maiden, NC) had 12 kills, 2 blocks, 3 aces and 10 digs. Tani Hatch (FY, Salt Lake City, UT) had 5 kills and 10 digs.
