Volleyball Loses to Peace on the Road

Raleigh, NC-The Salem College volleyball team lost on the road at Peace tonight. Salem fought back from a game deficit twice, but were not able to take the deciding game and lost the match (11-25, 25-16, 19-25, 25-23, 10-15). Salem's record drops to 7-13, while Peace improves to 11-9.

Katie Lineberger (Maiden, NC) led the team with 17 kills. Sara Maher (Longmont, CO) had the most assists with 34, and she also had 3 service aces. Khadija Layne (Dorcester, MA) played strong defense with 24 digs. Christine Tillman (King, NC) had the most blocks for the Spirits with 7.

Salem will return to action on Friday and Saturday at the Averett Invitational.
