Volleyball defeats Piedmont Baptist for a season sweep

Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College volleyball team completed a season sweep of crosstown rival Piedmont Baptist College in four sets (25-14, 17-25, 25-16, 27-25) at Piedmont Baptist. The Spirits defeated PBC earlier in the season 3-1 at home. Salem improves to 3-17 with the win.

Brittani Stewart (Mocksville, NC) led the team with 10 kills. Katie O'Leary (Seldova, AK) had a strong night with 7 kills, 15 digs, and 1 block. Brittany Miller (Hays, NC) led the Spirits with 26 digs.

Salem returns to action this weekend when they travel to Atlanta to take on Agnes Scott and Spelman in important Great South matches.
