Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College volleyball team traveled to cross-town rivals Piedmont International today and dominated the match. The Spirits never let PIU get into double-digits in points, and won 3-0 (25-5, 25-3, 25-8). Salem improved to 4-6, while PIU fell to 0-6.

Hillary McPhatter had an outstanding 15 service aces to lead the Spirits. Kylie Taffer had 16 kills, while Bernisha Master finished with 7. Zy Henderson had 19 digs and Taylor Rhodes led the team with 26 set assists.

Salem has a very important trip next weekend as they travel to Georgia to start Great South play. The Spirits will take on Wesleyan on Friday and Agnes Scott on Monday.
