Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College volleyball team fell in three set tonight to Guilford (10-25, 21-25, 23-25). After Guilford jumped out to an early set lead, the Spirits battled back and forth in the next two, but they could not pull out a win. Kylie Taffer led the Spirits with 8 kills and a .161 kill percentage. The Spirits fall to 2-7, while Guilford improves to 3-8.

Bernisha Master added 4 kills for Salem. Brandy Bednorz led the Spirits with 13 set assists. Mariah Sharon had 10 digs and 13 set assists to lead Salem.Taffer had 3 solo blocks and Master had 2 solo blocks.

Salem returns to action next Wednesday when they travel to Bluefield St.
