ATLANTA, Ga. – The Great South Athletics Conference announced the spring sports Players of the Week for contests played March 30 – April 6 and, following voting by the league sports information directors, Agnes Scott’s Anne Rinaldo claimed Women’s Tennis Player of the Week, the Scotties’ Holly Jones won Softball Pitcher of the Week and Kristi Morton of Salem captured Softball Player of the Week.
Seneca, SC-The Salem College softball team is pleased to announce that Zoe Wade has committed to play softball at Salem next fall. Wade played softball for Coach Rick Pate at Seneca High School in South Carolina.
Winston-Salem, NC-The Salem College softball team celebrated its three seniors by crushing Wesleyan 6-1 and 9-1. The Spirits honored Emily DeVane (Lillington, NC), Kristi Morton (Trussville, AL), and Kaitlyn Horner (Elkhart, IN) before the double-header. Morton capped off senior day with a home-run in her first at-bat.
Lexington, NC-The Salem College softball team is excited to announce that Briana Crumley has committed to play softball at Salem next fall. Crumley played softball for Coach Mike Lambros at North Davidson High School.
